The beaten path is beaten for a reason. The vast majority of the major restaurant chains plant there franchises squarely in the way of civilization so you can't miss it. In the case of Taj Palace its location is so out of the way that you really have to want to find it.
If you do take the trouble to seek out this gem of a restaurant, you'll find traditional Indian cuisine served in a lovely environment by a courteous staff. We found the Paneer Pakora and Chicken Mahkni a notch above most Indian cuisine and the tomato soup was unique and fresh. The service was delivered at a higher standard and met all of our expectations. Granted we had the entire place to our selves but none the less, our waiter was very attentive and polite.
It would be our hope that you seek out this well hidden establishment and give it a good chew. In a town such as Los Angeles where every path is beaten to death, you'll find the not-so-traveled trail to Taj Palace leads to great cuisine. rps. |
