From its unassuming exterior, you might not think that Sham Mediterranean restaurant wouldn’t be much to write home about - but you’d be dead wrong. The interior of Sham is a welcome surprise. It recreates an opulent middle eastern palace complete with mosaics, arches, and some mighty impressive trick lighting. The complimentary spiced olives are brought to your table by the friendly and laid-back staff that will instantly put you at ease.
The kabobs here are excellent, as is the roasted chicken, beef, or lamb shwarma with a tantalizing garlic sauce. The food is fresh, expertly flavored, and served in heaping portions. If you fancy a more adventurous dining experience, make reservations for their Thursday night belly dancing show. At a mere $20 a person (with dinner included) it’s a much more original date than burgers and a movie.
Sham is a hidden gem with many facets - great food, a beautiful décor, friendly service, and an entertaining dining experience. nvl. |
