Etiquette your Mother should have taught you:

Never talk on a cell phone in a restaurant.
2. Eat with your mouth closed.

4. Elbows off the table.
5. Don't belch in at the table.
6. Never throw food.
7. If you drop a utensil on the floor, don't re-use it.
8. Don't put your gum on your plate for later. (why are
you chewing gum? Splurge an extra 20 cents and treat yourself
to
a new piece.)
9. Never eat or drink another person's food without their
consent.
10. Never smoke in a restaurant. (Even if they have a smoking
section. You‘re killing your taste buds!)
11. Don't reach across someone else's plate.
12, Ask for dishes to be passed to you. (to the right)
13. Eat over your plate.
14. Avoid rude or disgusting dinner conversation.
15. Wash your hands before dinner.
16. Say "thank you" and "please".
17. Pass bread and all dishes to your right.
18. Pass the salt and pepper together.
19. Cut butter with the butter knife. Use your own to spread
the butter.
20. Spit inedible items out of your mouth into your napkin,
not on to your plate.
