When you think of pub food, your mind probably conjures up images of heat lamps, grease, and overcooked burgers. It’s time to let O’Brien’s Irish Pub teach you a lesson in bar food. They have the standard appetizers and burgers you would expect, but where O’Brien’s really shines is in their traditional Irish specialties.
With the warm wood interior, Guinness advertising paraphernalia, and cozy atmosphere it’s not hard to imagine you’re relaxing in the emerald isles. Order up a plate of lean and tasty corned beef and cabbage that would make your Irish granny jealous. The mustard sauce on the veggies is fantastic. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Irish breakfast (served all day) is definitely the way to go. All the meat is imported from Ireland, and you can taste it. Eggs, mushrooms, and broiled tomato are nestled in among bacon, bangers, and tradition “puddings”. You probably would expect deep fat fried cornmeal and pigs blood to be mouthwatering, but trust me, it’s great. Of course you could order a burger, but then you’d have to go through life without learning the fantastic flavor of black pudding.
So, order up a pint with your breakfast and taste the best that Ireland has to offer! nvl. |
