It appears that Japanese East is either under new management or has changed owners. In any case this eatery is using a new name in the same location. We have attempted to contact the restaurant to get the full story but to no avail. If any one has information on this situation please email us. thank you.

The most important article of clothing to consider when you dine at East Japanese Cuisine is your socks. Holey, stained, or grungy socks just won’t do, because you’ll be checking your shoes at the door. East Japanese Cuisine offers Japanese food in a casual, fun atmosphere. Instead of kneeling at the traditional low tables, East has kindly cut away the floor so you can sink into the low tables while still sitting on comfy cushions just like a western style chair.
You can dine on Sushi platters for two as you peruse the kimono and geisha-portrait adorned walls, or enjoy a box meal. The vegetable tempura is a standout, and their noodle bowls are just one of the healthy options on the menu. Wrap up dinner with their tasty mochi ice cream - if you’ve never had this rice candy and ice cream concoction, you’re in for a treat.
If you’re looking for a fun and different atmosphere, stow your shoes by the door and enjoy the Japanese delights of East Japanese cuisine. nvl. |
