Charming is just kind of hard to find in Los Angeles. With so many restaurants catering to the white table cloth, wine whiners some times you just need a break from the latest, trendiest, thrown together concoction of inedible gruel. What does a burnt out restaurant critique do? He takes his date to Earth, Wind and Flour in Santa Monica.
Look, they've got the sawdust on the floor, playing cards stuck on the ceiling, a full bar and really good pizza. Well to be truthful they have an excellent full menu that includes many different pasta dishes, salads and a few items that appeal to the more adventuresome. We decided on the Seafood Prima vera and the Chicken Pasquale. I am happy to report that both were served fresh and with a nice presentation.
Charming isn't as hard to find as you might think. Come to Earth, Wind and Flour and see if you agree. rps. |
