We don’t get pampered enough in our daily lives, so when you find a restaurant that makes you feel like a welcome guest, you want to tell your friends. Dante’s dining room is small and cozy, with a red velvet wallpaper that just wraps you in comfort and old world hospitality. The waiters here are old pros and make you feel like an important guest. I especially liked the comfortable upholstered chairs and candlelight.
The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The food is hearty Italian and the chef made appearances in the dining room to talk to the guests. If you like seafood, The linguine with clams is a beautiful and impressive house specialty. For those of you tossing all thought of a diet to the wind, the Spaghetti Carbonara, complete with eggs, bacon, and cheese sauce, is out of this world.
Part of the service at Dante’s is making sure you feel at home, so relax and enjoy the unhurried pace. Make sure to sip some of their great coffee and save room for dessert.
And when you have your food wrapped up to go (and you will with these portions) you’ll be happy to see that the to-go containers are covered in a layer of Saran wrap to make sure you’ll get to take every last bit of that delicious sauce home with you. nvl. |
