The shell-on shrimp in Cajun broth are spectacular. Make sure to soak up the sauce with the warm crusty bread, or have it served over rice or pasta. The blackened chicken is a great healthy choice. Make sure to sample their steamed cornbread and traditional red beans and rice. The food is served up with a touch of heat, but they’ll be happy to add enough cayenne to make your eyes water.
Every Tuesday is Mardi Gras at Bourbon St. Shrimp Co. From 5-7pm all entrees are half-price (but be sure to bring cash for this special). The weekends boast a pitcher of beer and a bucket of crayfish for just $15.95.
