At some point in your stay in New Orleans, you WILL need a break from Cajun and Creole cuisine. And when you just can’t stuff down another Po’boy, it’s time to head to Annette’s. Annette’s is hidden a block off Bourbon street, where very few tourists will find it. And it’s a shame, because this quaint little restaurant has great prices and fresh, hot breakfasts that will fill you up.
The omelets are a specialty here, but don’t go by the menu. They’ll cook your omelet just like you want it. If you’d prefer something different, their gyros are big, fresh, and so well flavored you’d swear they flew them in from Greece. As you’re munching down the vittles, Annette might just sit down at your table and entertain you with her life story. She’s quite a character - and you’ll go away feeling like family.
Just can’t stand the thought of another plate of seafood? The food at Annette’s is cheap, tasty, and fun! nvl. |
