All India Café, housed on the second story of a strip mall, is easy to pass from the road - that is until you’ve eaten there! One meal, and you’ll be back for more. The dining room is small, but mirrored, and the decorations are tasteful and authentic. Start things off with some refreshing mint iced tea with sweetened milk. The complimentary bread and sauces give you just a hint of the great tastes to come.
The Thali plates are a great deal. They offer several dishes served beautifully on a silver platter. If you’re vegetarian (And even if you’re not!) the mushroom paneer is fantastic. Make sure to save room for the kulfi ice cream. Not only is the food great, but the service is too. They will wrap up your leftovers wonderfully (and our waiter even wrapped up some extra bread for me to take along)
So next time you’re passing that strip mall, take a closer look. You might just find a hidden treasure like All India Café. |
